To go to trekking in restricted areas, it is necessary to buy special trekking permit from the Department of Immigration and it can be done only by associating with registered trekking agencies. There are numbers of restricted trekking areas and price differs according to the policies made in government level and these policies are well implemented. Some examples of restricted trekking Areas;

Upper Mustang Trekking.

Only to buy trekking permit, it costs you US $500 for 10days and if you want to go more than 10 days you have to pay US $ 50 for every day after 10 days. Cost for the trip is to be paid on top of it. On top of it, Annapurna conservation area project permit is to be bought.

Upper Dolpo Trekking.

Trekking permit fee is just like Upper Mustang and there are really very differences in areas, culture weather and other factors. Shey Phoksundo National park permit is necessary to buy.

Manaslu Trekkig,

It costs you US $ 70 per week and US $ 10 per day after 7 days. Manaslu conservation Area Project permit is needed on top of the trekking permit.

Lower Dolpo Trekking.

Everest Trekking region.
