This 13,500 feet Pikey peak entwines with the Chyabe across east to west. The name Pikey comes from the two titles of the Sherpas which carries religious meaning and trekking to pikey Peak gives the sense of romance and adventure with the greater pleasure of natural test. The month of July is a time of great celebration as the locals worship their clan god culturally since long back, the eastern Chyabo Pikey, as Pikey Hlapchen Karbu in the celebrations. Pikey Peak trail through Jiri-Chaulakharka-Ngaur- to reach the Pikey Daanda (Hill) area. Another trail leads from Pikey Danda to Phaplu through Panch Pokari and Tamakhani located north east from the district centre Salleri.

The Pikey Danda is most popular for its sunrise and sunset views and one can enjoy the glorious sight of the peaks beyond the Kathmandu Valley to the plains along with the Himalayan range of Mt. Everest, Makalu and Annapurna.

Day 01 - Fly from Kathmandu to Phaplu which takes 35 minutes.
Day 02 - Trek from Salleri to Ghunsa via Dorpu and it takes about six hours.
Day 03 - Trek from Ghunsa to Pattale via Kerung which takes about eight hours.
Day 04 - Trek from Pattale to Jhapre and it takes about six hours.
Day 05 - Trek from Jhapre to Pikey which takes about six hours.
Day 06 - Trek from Pikey to Junbesi and it takes about five hours.
Day 07 - Trek from Junbesi to Thuptenchholing and trek back to Junbesi which takes about four hours.
Day 08 - Trek from Junbesi to Phaplu and it takes about six hours.
Day 09 - Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu which takes about 35 minutes.
