Bardia wildlife Safari Tour provides to visit and see endangered animals like the rhinoceros, wild elephants, tigers, swamp deers, black bucks, gharials, crocodiles, marsh muggers and Genetic dolphins. Endangered birds including the Bengal florican, lesser florican, silvereared mesia and Sarus crean. More than 30 different mammals, over 2000 species of birds, and many snakes, lizards and fish have been recorded in the park's forest, grassland and river habitats. A good number of resident and migratory birds are found in the Bardia national park.

Climate in Bardia National Park:
The park has three distinct seasons, each providing a unique experience. From October through early April the weather is dry. The days are warm, and the nights are cool and pleasant. From April to June the temperature warm up and goes up to 45 degree C in May. The hot sticky days give way to the monsoon rains that lasts until September.
Facilities in Bardia National Park:
Be advised to carry a comprehensive first-aid kit including medicines for intestinal problems. There is a community health post at Thakurdwara. The wireless radio communication facility at the park headquarters could be used in emergency. If you are traveling by private vehicle make sure that you have ample amount of food. You can spend some nights at the lodges' surroundings the park. These lodges provide services to tourists.
How to Get There: There are regular daily flights from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival at the Nepaljung airport you are picked up by our staff and driven to Bardia national park for - a two hour drive. There is also bus drive but it takes 16 hours one way form Kathmandu to Nepaljung and Bardia. By private vechiles the drives is about 12 hours.
Our suggestion: a minimum of three nights at Bardia in order to appreciate what Bardia as a destination has to offer, in terms of a unique wildlife experience. More than three nights will make you fully appreciate and participate in most of the activities and view more wildlife game.
Additional information:
Bardia National Park is the largest park in the lowland Terai covering an area of 968 sq. km. In 1982, it was renamed as Royal Bardia Wildlife Reserve, and in 1984 it was extended to its current size. The reserve was given the status of a National Park in 1988. Greater One-horned Rhinoceros were Trans located from Chitwan National Park in 1986, 1991, and 1999.
In 1997, an area of 327 sq. km surrounding the park was declared as a buffer zone which consists of forests and private lands. The buffer zone is jointly managed by the park and local communities. Together they initiate community development activities and manage natural resources in the buffer zones.
Park Regulations:
1. Flora and Fauna are fully protected and must not be disturbed.
2. Do not purchase illegal animal or plant. products
3. Place trash in rubbish bins.
4. No one should walk within the park between sunset and sunrise.
What to Bring:
-Binoculars.
-Swim wear.
-Sunhat Flashlights.
- Insect repellent.
- Sun guard and sunglasses.
- Casual and comfortable clothes and shoes for easy movement while on safaris.
NB: The colors of your clothes should blend with the natural surroundings. During the winter season from November to February, sweaters and jackets are necessary in the mornings and evenings.
