Rafting on River is a kind of adventurous touristy game and rivers of Nepal has four chief river systems with more than two- hundred fifty considerable branches. The major rivers are: - The Sapta Kosi in the eastern Nepal, the Narayani in the central Nepal, the Karnali in the western Nepal and the Mahakali in the remote western Nepal. Arun River belongs to Koshi river system that flows in the Eastern Nepal. The easiest way to get to the river is flying to Tumlingtar. Alternatively one can drive for one & half days and then trek for three days. It begins at Timlingtar and ends at Chatara, Kartikeghat. The starting point can be approached either by flight or by road. Some parts of the river are smooth while some are rough and challenging. On the sixth day Arun River meets Sun Koshi if we continue. Rafters either drives back Chatara via Biratnagar or fly from Biratnagar to Kathmandu.
