There are many options of going to Everest Base Camp Trekking in Nepal. One of the options is driving from Kathmandu to jiri and hiking to Everest Base Camp via lukla by passing Namche Bazaar and trekking back to Lukla then flying into Kathmandu from Lukla Or/and we can trek down to Jiri as well. Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek is one of the most popular destination points for mountains sceneries that are called Kala pattar, Chhukung RI, Base camp and Gokyo peak. It is also known as Jiri to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar trekking - Jiri to EBC trek: - This is the route first used by the early expeditions team to climb Everest from the Nepal side. Starting from Jiri, the route passes through the Sherpa villages of the Solu Khumbu; it is very nice to be encountered with many beautiful Buddhist monasteries. The height goes gradual up making it easier to acclimatize. After a rest day in Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital, the trail continues to famous Thyangboche Monastery which is really historical and cultural.
Whole Everest trekking region is encircled by giant mountains known as one of the most beautiful places on earth. The aim of this trek is to climb Kalapathar from where the southwest face of Everest can be clearly seen. The return trek trail leads to Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu. The "Everest Classic" trek offers the best chance to get to know the beautiful Khumbu district, and allows for gradual acclimatization. Highest elevation is reached when climbing to the Kalapathar.
