Adventure Zone Trekking organizes adventure biking activities in Nepal, like cycling around the Kathmandu Valley and beyond, Cycling is a great way to travel around Nepal and it is becoming increasingly popular. On the second day, we will bike to the Last Resort to spend our wonderful night. While biking on the way, we will be seeing panoramic and scenic places. With the break in Dhulikhel, we will be viewing different mountain including Mt. Everest if weather permits with lunch. This day includes B.L.D.
Ultimate Bungy at the Last Resort may be the most spectacular jump on the planet. At 160 meters high in a tropical gorge with the Bhote Kosi, one of the world's wildest rivers, raging below, Ultimate Bungy is Nepal's Ultimate Rush and one of the longest free-falls in the world. The jump site was designed by one of New Zealand's leading Bungy consultants and has been staffed and operated by some of the most experienced Western Jump Masters in the business, working to exacting international standards to guarantee your safety. After bungee jumping we will bi-cycle to Dhulikhel and spend our night there or we can make half day rafting program on the Bhote kosi; one of the deepest river in the world.
We will, on the 4th day, come back bi-cycle to Kathmandu again. We can spend our 4th night at Dhulikhel for being enjoyed by the sun set and sun rise view. Weather permitting; we will be able to observe some of the world famous mountains like Mt. Everest, Cho Yu and more. After viewing the sunrise from dhulikhel point view, we will ride back to Kathmandu with short sightseeing in ancient newari city of Bhaktapur. It includes B.L.D
Flying to the mountainous and lake city of Pokhara will take 35 minutes from Kathmandu and 7 hours by bus. If you fly, you will be viewing lots of mountain and happen to see different kinds of landscapes. Breakfast on the way at one of the best available resorts with given time frame if you choose to drive otherwise it will be served at Pokhara or at Kathmandu depending upon your flight time. Nepal forms a rectangle on the southern slopes of the Himalaya and is without exception, the most stunning country imaginable. The main area for paragliding is the Pokhara valley, commanding views of 3 of the worlds 8000m peaks with friendly and constant conditions for your paragliding holiday. Tandem flying involves a pilot flying with a passenger. Both have separate harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. Paragliding harnesses are built for comfort and safety; they feel more like an armchair. Once launched the passenger just sits back, relaxes and takes in the epic scenery. Even taking pictures is not a problem. Due to the portable nature and easy launch characteristics of a paraglide (they fit into a rucksack) we can take them anywhere and fly them from most mountains in Nepal. We take a 20 min jeep ride from Pokhara to Sarangkot the viewpoint 2000ft above Lakeside. From here we can see 3 of the highest mountains in the world. Cloud buster,/b> This midday flight gives you the thrill of high flight as we thermal up above Sarangkot in the company of eagles and vultures, 30min - 1 hour. We land by the lake. Cross-country This offers you the chance to experience flying from one valley to another. Using thermals, clouds and birds to guide us, we take you on an unforgettable journey north of Pokhara towards the big mountains. We fly as long as we can and aim to return to Pokhara that afternoon. I don't climb Mt. Everest. But I want to touch it with my heart.....For the traveler who is unable to make a trekking trip to the mountains either because of lack of time or physical fitness, or due to sheer want of the adventure streak, there are mountain flights to simulate the experience. The one-hour flight takes you within camera range of some of the highest peaks in the world, and cruising this close to the awe-inspiring massifs of rock and ice, is an out-of-this earth experience. The aircraft takes off and heads eastward and almost immediately, the peaks come into view. The first peak that appears on your horizon is the majestic Gosaithan, standing 8,013m tall to its (6966m), looking like a massive figure of 8, lying prone and covered in snow. Next to the right Phurbi Chyachu, this looms over the Kathmandu Valley Next on your vision is Choba Bhamare, rather small in this company at 5,993m, but singularly stubborn, as it remains unconquered to this day. Then comes Mt. Gaurishanker (7,134m), standing out sharp and conspicuous-Hindus believe that Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati protect this mountain. As the flight moves toward the eastern Himalaya, a succession of majestic mountains follows. Melungtse, with a plateau-like top stands at 7,023m; Chugimago is at 6,297m, and still remains to be scaled. Mt. Number stands at 6,511m, and Cho-Oyu, the sixth highest in the world at 8,021m. The last and most exciting stretch of the journey takes you close to the 7,952m-tall Gyachungkang, which is considered an extremely tough climb. To its right is Pumori at 7,161m and Nuptse at 7,855m. Finally, there is Mt. Everest itself (8,848m), called Sagarmatha by the Nepalese and Chomolungma by the Tibetans. It is an altogether different feeling as one comes face to face with the world's tallest and most enigmatic of mountain. The spectacular mountain flights are offered by the various airlines.
