After Airports formalities you will be met by our Airport Representative and he/she will escort you to Hotel where you will be briefed about our up coming program in short.
From day 02 to 04, we will be collecting the documents applied in the Chinese embassy and concerned departments and ministries by tallying your passport for the Expedition. At the same time, we will be giving you sightseeing program of Kathmandu Valley to avoid your monotones. In sightseeing historical, cultural and architectural places like: Pashupatinath (a sacred Hindu shrine), Boubhanath, Soyambhunath, Budhanilkantha and other places as well if time permits us will be visiting during these days. All places that are mentioned above are listed in the world heritage site.
Wake up early in the morning and get ready to go up to Zhangmu; Tibetan land on the way to Cho Oyu Expedition from Tibet Side. We will be viewing Langtang, Gaurishankar. Melung. Melumgtse and Khumbu mountain ranges. It is our first day drive leaving Nepal to Tibet for the trip and way from Kodari to Zhanmu is not so good. It includes B.L.D.
It is not so long driving day. We will be driving with rest and can have break to view different mountains and other natural beauties encountered in our eyes till the distance our eyes can go unless no obstruction. Breakfast will be served at Zhang Mu, lunch on the way and dinner and camp/hotel/lodge at Nyalam today. Includes B.L.D.
Nyalam is such a beautiful place and it considered to have a day break for further exploration deeply. This day is free day for every individual to use in their own but binding upon the rule formulated by the government of China.03 meals are served here today. It includes B.L.D.
While on the way in the Tibetan land you will have an opportunity of having viewing different kinds of monasteries. Tibet is known as a holistic place and many monasteries are built here since ancient time. Sekarjong is also one of the places to have monasteries of different kinds. We spend our night and take dinner at Sekharjong. It includes B.L.D.
After taking breakfast at Sekharjong, we will proceed to drive for Base Camp today. You must be more excited than ever since you are in the trip because you are driving to Base Camp today. It includes B.L.D.
It is good to take rest at Base Camp for two days for your acclimatization because we have started our journey from 1350m.And we are here at the height of more than 5000m.while on rest we may try technical rock climbing to be fit to summit the top.3 time meals for both days will be served at the Base Camp by our staffs.
Today, after breakfast, we will proceed for climbing up to the advanced Base camp situated at the height of almost 6000m. To go to Advanced Base Camp from the Base camp after two days rest will be easy In case of any high altitude sickness; Cho Oyu expedition committee of the Adventure Zone Trekking and Expedition (p) LTD will take quick action against it and start taking clients to the Base Camp. It Includes B.L.D.
For your safety and sound health due to high altitude problem, it is better to take rest at the advanced Base Camp. It includes B.L.D.
Duration: 24 days and all these days will be used hiking up and coming down to the base camp in order to be fit physically for the expedition. Height: 8201m. From the Base Camp, for the lodges we will be using tented camp with high security set by our well experienced climbing Sherpas. Adventure Zone Trekking & Expeditions management committee of the Cho Oyu expedition team is very much conscious of its expedition clients to know all about their physical condition and high altitude sickness. In case of any doubt regarding physical inability caused by high altitude sickness, the committee will take action to bring the people from the high camp to second camp or to the base camp and after he/she gets fit the committee will take him or her up again. All these 24 days will be using in such activities and because of which it will be less difficult to summit the top. Spare days that are shown in the itinerary may not be enough or may be more also but whatever is the case our itinerary is customizable.
An itinerary of the day 40 says we are at the advanced camp after summating the top of the Cho Oyu situated at the height of 8201 m. It is wonderful day because we are descending down from the top after achieving our goal of the project. It includes B.L.D.
At 41st day, we are at the Cho Oyu Base Camp. We spend our night here looking around the Base camps scenario. It includes B.L.D.
Whole day will be used to clean up the Base Camp. All the dusts that we made before and after summating the top are necessary to clean up. It includes B.L.D.
At Base Camp vehicles are waiting for us to drive back to Nyalam, the place we have been before while going to Cho Oyu Base Camp. So you know about this place. It includes B.L.D.
While coming back, we will not be stopping anywhere because we have done almost all sightseeing when we were going to Cho Oyo Base Camp. So, it will be possible to arrive at Kathmandu from Nyalam via Kodari; Nepal- Tibet Boarder.
This day is separated for individual use, whether you can use this day for shopping, sightseeing or on rest. This night we will take you to Nepali restaurant where you will be served Nepali typical styled food with cultural program.
