Kathmandu-Whitewater Rafting to Pokhara Drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi above 3-3:30 hours then about 4 hours day rafting and arrive to pokhara 2-3 hours. Pokhara-Jomsom-Kagbeni 2858 m Early morning Flight without breakfast from Pokhara to Jomsom , have breakfast here and trek to Kagbeni (2858 m) walk for 3-4 hours through the bank of Kaligandaki to Ekley Bhatti Village and have lunch; trek one more hour to Kagbeni lying between two rivers Kaligandaki (flows. from Muktinath) and Nilgiri (flows from Mt. Nilgiri). Overnight at Kagbeni.
Kagbeni to Muktinath 3800m Height 3800m. 6-7 hours of walking day. Take your breakfast in Kagbeni then leave the river begin ascent slowly through Jharkot and finally to Muktinath (3800m), an important Vishnu shrine sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists. This place carries historical, natural and religious value a lot. Over night at Muktinath.
Muktinath to Marpha 2665 m Height 2665 m. walking time 5-6 hours with guide throughout the trip. After exploring the temple and the nearby Monastery and having breakfast take the shorter descent direct to Jomsom then walk the short distance down to the charming village of Marpha (2665m.). Over night at a lodge in Marpha.
Marpha to Ghasa 2000 m Height 2000 m. walking time 5-6 hours with the rest. Following the Kaligandaki River through fields and interesting Buddhist Thakali villages - Tukuche, Larjung, Kalopani. Overnight at Ghasa by the deepest gorge in the world.
Ghansa to Tatopani 1189 m Height 1189 m. 5-6 hours of walking day. The track today passes the picturesque Rupsechhara waterfall, a rather stony route through Dana and finally reaches the hot spring village of Tatopani.We will try to manage the time to find a little time to go down to the springs on the river for a hot bath. Tatopani's charming village boasts a number of small eating houses offering exotic things like lemon meringue pies.
Tatopani to Ghorepani 2855 m Height 2855 m. walking hourÂ’s 6-7.This is a bit of difficult day compare to other days but take it easy. It's a long walk uphill through the neat Magar village of Sikha to Ghorepani (2855 m). The village itself is in a hollow of rhododendron trees.
Ghorepani –Poon Hill 3192 m to Pokhara. Height 3192 m. walking hours 8.wake up early in the morning and walk up to Pun Hill (3192m.) for a marvelous view of Dhaulagiri and the western Annapurnas (weather permitting sun rise view as well) This has scheduled as a rest day at Ghorepani but if you feel like it, continue down the ridge to Ulleri 2070m; a Magar village at the top of a rather steep cliff. Descend the cliff to the village of Tirkhedunga from where you follow the Buri Gandaki river past Hille, it's series of pools getting more and more picturesque as you finally enter Birethanti 1065m ; the most charming village on the trail, at the confluence with the Modi river. From Birethanti, cross the river on the swing bridge, then turning west follow the Modi Khola through light forest to the confluence with a stream at Nayapul. 30 minutes should see you to the roadhead from whence you can bus it back into Pokhara. This will be a little long walk.
Pokhara to Kathmandu Pokhara to Kathmandu: either by 6 hours scenic drive or by 35 minutes flight. Overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu and shoping.
