Meet Adventure Zone representative and transfer to Hotel.
In these two days you may choose to do Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour. We have many UNESCO world heritage listed historical, religious and architectural place. Or/and these two free days in Kathmandu for relaxing, packing and preparing. You can leave any gear which you don't need during the expedition at the hotel. We keep your international air ticket at the office in case any changes need to be made while you are climbing.
Early in the morning we take a private bus along the Friendship Highway to Kodari where we pass through Nepalese customs then cross the Friendship Bridge and climb to Zhangmu, the Chinese border town.
After breakfast in Zhangmu we will start driving to reach Nyalam where we will spend our night there. Nyalam is again another Chinese scenic and panoramic place and good place to spend one more day for sightseeing around or for rest.
It is good to have rest here in order to acclimatize and for sightseeing around it. Since we are spending our whole day here, we will serve your 3 meals here as well.
A spectacular day as we cross the main Himalayan range, driving over the 5150m Lalung La. If the weather is clear the views are absolutely superb, including Shishapangma, Cho Oyu and Everest Himal.
We have another rest day here as we had long driving day yesterday. Tigri is also one of the best scenic places for short sightseeing around and taking photos of the Himalayas and scenarios with rest and relax.
After breakfast at Tingri, we will drive to Everest Base Camp where w will be spending 5-6 rest days depending upon the circumstances around it.
Acclimatize at Everest BC Depending on the weather, we may explore around BC (there are some fun places to camp at) for around a week or move up to ABC more quickly.
On the sixteenth day we will try to attempt Interim camp situated at the height of 5600m. Since we have many days for this expedition, we will do everything nicely and smoothly.
Day by day, we are trying to climb up and up and o this day we try to climb to Advanced Base camp. Climb till Advanced Base Camp is not that hard job but still we do this slowly in order to acclimatize the high altitude sickness.
We do many kinds of activities while resting over here. It is not only for acclimatizing but also to train to climb with the peaks around to be fit to go further. We have a puja to show respect for the mountain and it is one of the activities to do over here.
Duration: 31 days and all these days will be used hiking up and coming down to the advanced base camp or even to Base camp in order to be fit physically for the expedition. Height: 8848m. From the Base Camp, for the lodges we will be using tented camp with high security set by our well experienced climbing Sherpas. Adventure Zone Trekking & Expeditions management committee of the Everest expedition team is very much conscious of its expedition clients to know all about their physical condition and high altitude sickness. In case of any doubt regarding physical inability caused by high altitude sickness, the committee will take action to bring the people from the high camp to second camp or to the base camp and after he/she gets fit the committee will take him or her up again. All these 31 days will be using in such activities and because of which it will be less difficult to summit the top. Spare days that are shown in the itinerary may not be enough or may be more also but whatever is the case our itinerary is customizable. We plan one longer acclimatization trip on the mountain and we may make a second trip up to North Col. We will return to BC to recover before making a summit attempt. We summit as a team in one or two groups. In general solo summit attempts without lots of backup are not possible.
We are today at Advanced Base camp after summating the top of the world from the Tibet side.
On the 55th day we are trekking down to Everest Base Camp.
